Planning Your Design

Send a message or email to schedule your consultation. Please include helpful details such as your event date, what service(s) you are interested in, and anything else you feel is essential.
Set Consultation
Together, we will determine a date and time for your consultation. Beautiful Reimagined will provide information about what to bring with you and where to arrive. Most appointments are 30-45 minutes.
Reimagine a Design
Beautiful Reimagined is excited to hear the story you want to create and see your dress. This is when we start reimagining ideas and steps together to plan your design.
Fitting
Alterations and Customizations: Please plan to try on your garment, take measurements, and have the garment pinned or marked during your consultation.
Refashioning: When refashioning a dress into a garment as a gift, measurements can be provided later.
Dressmaking
Depending on your design, the dressmaking steps can include conceptualization, pattern drafting, deconstruction, sourcing additional supplies, many adjustments targeting length and sizing to improve overall fit, reconstruction, finishing details, and pressing. These steps take time, yet are worth the results.
Additional Fittings
Multiple fittings may be necessary to get your perfect fit because adjusting one part of a garment can change the fit or length of another area.
Pick-Up
At pick-up, you should try on the dress one last time so we can check all changes. As with prior fittings, you should bring shoes and any undergarments you plan to wear with the dress.
Payment
An invoice will detail the cost of the expert craftsmanship involved in your garment. Payment for services is due at pick-up.
